Cunard floated out the Queen Elizabeth this week.

The ship will take the name from the recently retired Queen Elizabeth II, which itself too the name from the original Cunarder. She is a variant of the Carnival Vista class, continuing the practice of “re-branding” a common design among sister lines. She is due to enter service in October 2010.
